Clinical Audit
Clinical Audit is a quality improvement process aimed at improving our patient care and outcomes, through systematic review of current care against defined standards. Simply, Clinical Audit examines whether we are "doing the right thing with the right patient at the right time". Clinical Audit processes include:
- Peer Review
- Critical Incident Analysis
- Patient Satisfaction Surveys
- Criteria Based Audit
- Complaints Monitoring
To ensure a quality improvement cycle all audit topics are re-audited after implementation of a quality improvement action team and feedback is disseminated throughout the organisation.
